Jackie, Marilyn...and Truman Capote

"[Jackie and Lee] were the original American geishas," Truman Capote once quipped.

 Lee Radziwill and Truman

Although his friendship with Lee was more meaningful than with Jackie, Truman Capote knew both women socially. Jackie tended to keep the unusual-looking author at arms' length, while Lee hoped that he could help her launch a career as an actress. And speaking of actresses, Truman was also friendly with Marilyn, whom he helped get an acting coach (at Marilyn's request, I believe). The author of Breakfast at Tiffany's and In Cold Blood, Truman adored gossip and had a knack for stirring up trouble. Find out what kind of 'fire' he kindles in O! Jackie.
